i forgot to rant about clovis last week, and i really, reeeeally wanted to. i'll do it now instead. (yay!)

so i went to clovis for one of matthew's shows, which went very well. while in CLOVIS, NEW MEXICO we encountered numerous foul odors, unpleasant sights, and offensive people.

now, i know lubbock often smells... well, bad. but, clovis alternates between the stench of cow poop, mold, dirt and rotting trash. all the buildings are vacant and dilapidated, the roads are trashed, and weeds are growing wildly everywhere. basically, clovis is void of any aesthetics. and the PEOPLE, my goodness, the people! unacceptable. folks are just wondering around half clothed, dirty and oblivious to their ignorance. i think someone could actually become a mass-murderer there and get away with it.

i'm feeling quite sorry for myself as of late. i feel like all i do is work & study. and when i'm not working or studying, i'm thinking that i should be, and i'm planning out when i can start again. oh, the tragedy. the injustice! the heartbreak of it all.
