ten billion stars

we haven’t ventured out into the mountains after nightfall, but we plan to camp out soon with some friends of matthew’s that live just north of boulder. i imagine i’ll be snuggled tight in my sleeping bag under ten billion stars, the night cold on my face and in my lungs. The mountains’ silence will ring in my ears and God will seem a little closer.
