well, the count down to my french exam has begun. i have 9 days to adequately learn 18 chapters. if i don't test out of at least 2 semesters, i'm *never* going to get my master's degree. i cannot believe i've allowed myself to be in such a predicament.

well, okay. so i get myself into these predicaments all the time. but still, i'm freaking out!

i took matthew out last night for his birthday. we ate at tokyo japanese steak house (mm mmmm) and went to see starsky & hutch. later we went back to my house where he opened gifts. he was really excited about the chocolate chip cookies from kala, but i think he's a little nervous about using the warm-stone massage gift certificate from me. how cute.
